We work hard every day to provide educators with the support they need to better understand their students’ social and emotional needs, build stronger relationships, and teach students the skills they need to be successful in school and beyond.
V. Scott Solberg, PhD., Chief Research Officer (Resiliency & Social-Emotional Learning)
Dr. V. Scott Solberg is the Associate Dean of Research at Boston University School of Education. He is an active member of the Society for Vocational Psychology of the American Psychological Association and a member of several international psychology associations. Dr. Solberg is currently the chair of the American Psychological Association’s Coalition for Psychology in Schools and Education. He has published more than 20 empirical and theoretical articles relevant to youth development and academic success and is the author of Success Highways.
Christine DeBaca, Director of Research
Christine DeBaca’s research interests include social and emotional aspects of classroom learning, assessment design, and youth development and academic success. Ms. DeBaca, along with a team of professors out of Boston University and the University of Colorado, Denver, have conducted research on the predictive nature resiliency has on future academic outcomes. She also helped create and validate the Success Highways Elementary Resiliency Assessment.
